OPEN, getting hotter - harvest will be reduced, now closed Thurs, blueberries coming soon

he heat will rachet up this week. With it we will see reduced quantities of berries. It’s that time of year again – right on schedule with the Petaluma Fair. Please note – we’re coming into our summer schedule so I will start closing on THURSDAYS. We will be open today, Monday at 10:00 and will be CLOSED this Thursday – 6/25. As the week progresses I’ll determine if we’ll move to opening at 12:30 to accommodate the reduced harvest. Stay tuned.

The blueberries are starting to ripen!! I hope to have some by Wed or Fri. We have to juggle the strawberry and blueberry harvest and find enough cool hours to do both. I’ll let you know for sure when the blueberries will be at the stand.

It’s possible that I’ll only have berries at Petaluma Bounty on Friday or maybe none at all. If the heat reduces the harvest I won’t be able to supply both locations. We may have to wait until August when we get more coming in to run 2 stands again.
