10:30 on Fri - only 6 flats will be available, finished harvest at 10:30, no berries Sunday

Up to the minute news flash!!! I only have 6 flats for today. Those of you who come at 12:30 could possibly get some if we all share and take ¼ flat each. Please come for the blueberries as I’m sure there won’t be more until at least next Wed or possibly Fri. They will keep in your fridge. Sorry…. Just thought I’d let you know so you aren’t disappointed. This is what happens in July with extreme heat.

4:45 on Sat 6/27 - still OPEN with 10 flats in the cooler ..... they need homes

The heat has thrown all of us off today!! I picked everything I could by 12:00 and brought it in. I put everything in the cooler and set it for 55 degrees (a nice cooool morning temperature). Usually we’re completely wiped out by now on a Saturday but…. we have 10 flats. If you can use berries or might need them for tomorrow, consider getting them today. I don’t know how many flats I’ll have tomorrow after this heat. Our harvest could be cut in ½. The remaining flats that are being kept at optimum temperature and will not have that after 6PM since the cooler must go off.

3:30, Mon 6/22 - 16 flats available, Open till 6:00, 6:00 will not happen as often

Afternoon update for you….. we have plenty today. The stand will be open until 6:00. This will not happen as often with the heat coming up. If you can only get berries after work between 4:30 and 6:00, today is your day.

4:30 7 flats available, fresh from the field HOURS CHANGE - please read

First off, there are 7 flats at the stand just in from the field. We’ve been selling out quickly so this looks like a good opportunity to grab some if you’re near there.

Our hours are changing starting tomorrow 5/28, Thursday. I will arrive at 12:15 instead of 10:00. This will allow me to keep the stand stocked from 12:15 to 4:00 every day(hopefully) without running out. With the crop way down this year (we’re off by more than 50%), I’m spending my time running from the field to the stand and not being productive AND we know it’s difficult for you to stop by only to find the door down.

3:00 - Berries on stand now, get them today if you can, may run out between deliveries tomorrow

We’re still harvesting today. I’m trying to keep up with the demand. There are 14 flats on the stand now at 3:00. I will bring more at 3:30 (last load of the day). I will have approximately 14 flats with that load. If you need berries AND it’s a holiday weekend, my advice…..

If you need berries for tomorrow and can get them today, I would do so. They are moving off the stand fast today. Take a chance and swing by, even if it’s close to 6PM. We will have berries tomorrow but…. I won’t know how many people will be waiting for me to drive in at each delivery and how fast we can pick! You can up your odds by getting them today. They will keep in the fridge overnight. Just bring them to room temperature before serving.

Just dropped off the last berries for the day. They need to get home with you in coolness ASAP. Plenty for everyone with 27 flats. Don’t know what the heat will do to the crop tomorrow so…. you decide. Sugars are coming up!

Those of you who try for berries after 5:00 and find us closed are in luck…….. we have 5 flats available and fresh in from the field at 4:30. Hope this helps!!! Get ‘em if you can
